Introduction

The System Log is where you watch a system’s log stream, search/filter it, and collaborate with quick notes.
It shows each entry’s Timestamp and Body (the message content).

Prerequisites
  • You’ve created at least one System.

Quick start

  1. Select a System from the picker at the top.
  2. Watch new log lines appear in real time.
  3. Use Filter / Search to narrow results.
  4. Add context with Annotations (comments) or Markers (visual flags).
  5. Export up to 10,000 rows, or Clear logs to start fresh.

What you can do

Select & Control

  • Choose a specific System to inspect.
  • Start logging to begin ingesting messages for that System.
  • Stop logging to pause ingestion.

Schedule (plan-based)

  • Timed Start/Stop: set a timer to automatically enable/disable logging at chosen times.
Availability depends on your subscription plan.

Collaborate on log lines

  • Annotations: attach a short comment thread to a specific line (useful for investigations or hand-offs).
  • Markers: drop a quick visual flag on a line to highlight key moments.

Share (plan-based)

  • Share a System view with a trusted guest using a link + password + guest name.
Guests can view, filter, annotate, and mark logs for that shared System only.
Availability depends on your subscription plan.

Export & Clear

  • Export the currently visible table (up to 10,000 rows) for audits or offline analysis.
  • Clear logs to reset storage to 0 and start from a clean timeline.

Tips & limits

  • Storage caps and some features vary by plan (e.g., scheduling, sharing).
  • Clear is helpful before a new test or after exporting incident data.
  • Keep sensitive details out of annotations if the log view will be shared externally.
